To achieve professional-quality epoxy floors, follow these detailed steps. Start by thoroughly preparing your surface. Remove any old flooring and clean the area of debris, dirt, and oil stains.
Use a hand grinder to open and clean out any cracks. Fill these cracks with floor patch epoxy gel, smoothing the surface with a stiff putty knife. Allow the patch to cure for 4 to 8 hours before grinding the entire concrete surface, either with a hand grinder or a walk-behind grinder, depending on your project size. This grinding ensures a strong bond with the moisture seal.
